University of Southampton Delhi and Cambridge International Education Launch Scholarships for A-Level Graduates

The University of Southampton Delhi has announced the launch of the Cambridge Scholarship Awards in collaboration with the International Education division of Cambridge University Press & Assessment, the education arm of the University of Cambridge. This initiative is aimed at enhancing higher education opportunities for Indian students pursuing Cambridge international qualifications.

Under this partnership, up to four competitive scholarships will be offered to Cambridge A-Level graduates in India applying for the University’s August 2025 intake. Each selected student will receive a fixed tuition fee contribution of ₹2.2 lakh for the 2025–2026 academic year. Recipients will be chosen by the university’s Scholarship Committee based on academic excellence and A-level results.

In addition to the scholarships, all Cambridge students applying between May 1 and May 31, 2025, will receive an application fee waiver. A dedicated admissions team will also ensure faster and more streamlined processing for Cambridge-affiliated applicants.

Dr. Vishal Talwar, Chief Operating Officer of University of Southampton Delhi, highlighted the value of the partnership, saying, “Cambridge A-Level students possess strong academic foundations and a global perspective, aligning perfectly with our university’s mission to develop future leaders.”

Vinay Sharma, Senior Vice President of International Education, South Asia at Cambridge, emphasized the importance of the initiative. “This collaboration provides Indian Cambridge students direct access to world-class education right at home, opening new international pathways and preparing them for global success,” he said.

Cambridge International Education, which offers qualifications like IGCSE, AS, and A Levels, currently works with over 810 schools across India. The University of Southampton is ranked among the top 125 global institutions for employability, according to the QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2022.
