Your Guide to CBSE Class 12 Result 2025: Steps to Check and Download

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the Class 12 board exam results for 2025. Students who appeared for the exams can now access their scorecards through various official websites, including:

The Class 12 board exams were conducted from February 15 to April 4, across multiple examination centers nationwide. This year, approximately 44 lakh students participated in the CBSE board exams.

CBSE Class 12 Result 2025: Where and How to Check
To download your scorecard online, follow these steps:

  • Visit one of the official websites: results.cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, or cbseresults.nic.in
  • Click on the link for “CBSE Class 12 Result 2025” on the homepage
  • Enter your roll number, school number, and date of birth
  • Your result will be displayed on the screen
  • Download and print the scorecard for future use

Students are encouraged to double-check all personal and academic details on their scorecards. In case of discrepancies, they should contact CBSE authorities promptly.

Via DigiLocker

  • Visit digilocker.gov.in
  • Log in or create a new account
  • Navigate to the “Education” or “Results” section
  • Select CBSE Class 12 Result 2025
  • Enter your credentials (roll number, school number)
  • View and download your digital marksheet

Using the UMANG App

  • Download and open the UMANG app on your smartphone
  • Log in using your registered mobile number
  • Go to the CBSE Class 12 Results section
  • Enter your roll number and required details
  • View and save your result

CBSE Class 12 Pass Percentage and Performance Highlights

  • Total registered students: 17,04,367
  • Students appeared: 16,92,794
  • Students passed: 14,96,307
  • Overall pass percentage: 88.39%

This marks a slight improvement of 0.41% from last year’s pass rate of 87.98%.

CBSE Class 12 Passing Criteria
To pass the CBSE Class 12 board exams, students must:

  • Score a minimum of 33% in each subject
  • Meet aggregate score requirements
  • Fulfill practical/internal assessment criteria where applicable

Students failing to meet these criteria are eligible to appear for CBSE Supplementary Exams, as per the board's guidelines. Application dates for these exams will be announced shortly.
